I thought the fibre was only 20? Or do you mean its 25 including Sky Tallk?

      Re: Sky Fibre connection

Pleased to have received a call from Sky for the trial. Will be installed on the 19th March.

Guy said I should get 40mb/s dl and the BT checker confirms this - approx 150m from the BTO cabinet.

That is misleading, as you can't get it without Sky Rental. I think someone must have asked about the discount and they have come up with this to cover themselves. What about the discount for having Sky TV? Is that being dropped or is the full price actually 27.50?

      Re: Sky Fibre connection

just read this in my local BFP paper titleed(The sound of a Saturday morning)
      'Suddenly the phone rang.
Naturally I jumped out of bed and ran, well kind of waddled quickly, down the stairs to see who it was.
It turned out to be a sales call. Had I really got out of my nice warm bed to hear the sales patter for a new broadband service?' I am going to assume that means he was called by sky, which means they are ringing up my local area. and on a saturday morning too.

      Re: Sky Fibre connection

Hi, I am new to this Forum, been looking around it for the last few days and thought it was a really nice and friendly forum so thought I would join. I am getting Sky fibre installed on the 12th of march. Cant wait. At the moment I am stuck with 2mb download and 0.3Mb up at about 2 miles from exchange. The nice shiney new green fibre cab is about 30m away from my house so should get the full 40 down and 2 up.
