    Sky Fibre connection

This is a discussion on Sky Fibre connection within the Sky Broadband (Fibre) Help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Actually, could you do a speedtest for me and copy and paste the results so I can check the database?...

Is it mean to give a link like speedtest.net or do you mean drag & copy the test on the line?

If you mean the former its not giving me one, if its the latter, what I mean by 'its not recording them' i mean it is giving the pop up window after running the test i select fiber click submit but its not listing it above my old unlilmited results.

If you do a speedtest on ours, it should give you a result like this,

We have detected that your ISP is Sky - Your current download speed is 5416Kbps, and your current upload speed is 665Kbps.

(after giving you the option to save as Sky Unlimited Fibre)

If you can copy and paste that bit for me, I can then do a search in the results to try and find the issue?

Interesting, I wonder if there are a new block of IPs out, (that our speed tester hosts don't recognise etc) as that should at least pick up that you are on Sky.

Thanks for that information, I will collate it all later and move to a different thread so as not to mess this one up.

I am on a new range of IPs. I had a big issues with websites letting me use them like the BBC and Sky news.. emailed them and they added the range to their filter.

ok, i've got an airport extreme. i have spent the last hour trying to use it instead of the sky router and it will not connect to the internet.

i got my username and password (correct me if I'm wrong but the network key is the original wireless passed that is on the back of the router) from the link here:http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/extra...-web-page.html

so i have had to connect the sky one back up and just use this get an internet connection then connect the airport to the sky router.

      sorry people
