      nothing online that i know off, its at the end of my road, i have to pass it to get to my flat, its only about 70m walking (est)

      thanks, I guess that tallies with your speed .

      Hope we can build up a picture over time (as more and more people get connected), what 'estimated' speeds Sky are giving out, versus the actual speed people end up with. Obviously not people like yourself, lucky enougn to be (pratically) sat on top of their cabinet (no brainer result), but others further away from theirs, like myself.

      heres some more speed tests, this time to Washington (USA) Los Angeles (USA), Paris (France), Frankfurt (Germany), Naples (Italy) & Madrid (Spain) for those that play Xbox LIVE or PSN Online.

      From my understanding I think sky have been giving out what speeds the line can support but their package cap will restrict the speeds you actually get. For example on a 40/2 package your maximum would be 40 less drop from cabinet to your property but if they flicked the switch to 80/20 you may find you actually get the estimated amount that they quote less drop... Until they allow 80/20 we wont really see what peoples line can support. I could be wrong but thats what Im told...

      I notice that you UK speed is only faster than 80% of the UK. Mine has dropped from 77% around a year ago to 64% today.

      I'm off to sulk...
