That is your opinion. Just because you are with PlusNet for broadband, not Sky, I suspect that you are happier where you are now.

However, on the occasions when I personally have called Sky, I have been able to get a good response from them.

I am not saying that Sky's support are perfect, so do not feel that you have to list lots of examples where you personally have had a poor experience. However when you consider that their support is based across the UK and that a small team in India deals with calls during the night or some Bank holidays, I think we are just fine.

To be honest, it's not really an opinion, it is just more from what I have been told from other people who were on Sky and also from some peoples posts on here which seem to back this up. I am happy at Plusnet and aren't saying they are 'better' at all. I do however think that Sky must learn to realise that customers do not want to have to call up 3 or 4 times to get to the bottom of a problem.

Gossip and 2nd hand stories should always be treated with a pinch of salt.

I talk from personal experience when I slag off BT India.

As for saying that their support is rubbish when you clearly are now admitting that you have never personally contacted them, I suggest that you check out the TalkTalk forums. You are sure to find that their support is somewhat wanting. They frequently hit the bottom of the surveys by Ofcom.

As for Plusnet vs Sky, when someone is unable to get Sky LLU, we do normally recommend PlusNet.

Personally I believe that as an ADSL package, the Sky Unlimited Broadband is far supoerior to any ADSL package that PlusNet can offer. However their Connect package is terrible.

Well come on lets face it, it would be very difficult to have a worse Support Service than TalkTalk, I was speaking with them the other day to help a friend cancel their account and they were spending so much time trying to retain me but just couldn't match an offer I had got a friend elsewhere, plus you spend twice as much time asking them what they are saying too.

There is always room for improvement regardless of how good the support may be. I agree having Unlimited Broadband is a lot better than anything Plusnet can offer. The maximum they offer is 60GB, which for most people is more than enough anyway.
