      Evening lag!

      Hi,

I've just today migrated over to Sky Unlimited from UK Online & brought with me an issue that I've been noticing for the last 6 weeks. Latency will rise to a max of about 300ms starting from 4pm & finishing about 10:45. This is on Bluebell Hill exchange in Kent (NDBLH). I was kinda hoping that it would disappear with the migration, but the two networks are more similar than I hoped.

What's the best approach to getting this dealt with quickly?

I think that fault is in the North Wales area, Kent is a fair bit away from there.

      Re: Evening lag!

The fault is showing up all over the country at the moment and there have been a few reported occcurances in Kent. Sky have, on their own help forums requested that if people are experiencing the high ping/low throughput issue and are not in the North West - then they should please ring Sky and ask to be put through to CST in order that they can investigate and register their fault. Unfortunately it is also noted on their forums that as usual it is quite difficult to get put through to CST!!

      Re: Evening lag!

Sky have acknowledged the fault on their status pages. Kent is acknowledged as having the fault - it's not just a northern thing.

I called them yesterday. The call centre girl seemed to recognise the symptoms & immediately gave me a reference number for a CST callback. Of course, they haven't called back yet though
