You noise margin is a bit high which suggests you have been capped for some reason. Can you post the stats from the Test socket as requested. Speedtests are meaningless at the moment.

we have looked at our incoming socket and it does not have a test section i have put my pc only into the main socket that we have and done a new reading. This is without using any extension leads etc.

How many sockets are on your telephone line in total and is anything other than the filter and the router plugged in for these stats?

Re: Unlimited Broadband Getting only 0.88 Download Speed

There is not much you can do if you don't have a Test socket. With your existing noise margin they should be able to raise your speed to around 4 Mb, so I would call Sky and ask them to manually configure your line. It may be better doing it at a quiet time on the line which is usually around 10am-12noon, although this can vary.

Just be sure that you always plug the filter into the socket first, then any splitters you need for your phones, digi box etc. If you do plug your Sky box into the phone line, check that it does not degrade the noise margin. Some of the filters supplied by Sky do not handle the Sky box very well and some have found that buying a good quality filter makes a big difference.
