      New Install - Low Speed

      Hey everyone,

I just had my sky broadband installed 3-4 days ago (or rather activated) and I experience very low speeds, despite the fact that my attenuation is quite low (see attachment) and I reckon I should have at least 5mbps more than the current speed.
I read some of the forum posts and there seems to be a "test" period of 10 days and I was wondering if that is actually true or should I start calling the customer service?

Thank you in advance for any help! =)

It is. You should keep your router plugged in and powered up during the training period. You should have been advised of this in one of the letters you received.

      You look good for 18-20Mb.

Re: New Install - Low Speed

You need to wait 10-12 days from the date of connection, after that it should have increased.

When I first got Sky BB it went up by around 2Mbps per day untill around Day8 when it stopped at 9Mb
