That sort of information is Top secret, maybe even Most secret, no one who communicates with the public has any knowledge of this. Why? I don't know, maybe Sky think if it is made public some of their competitors may dive in and put their equipment in first and steal potential customers.

They seem to have the same attitude to FTTP or FTTC. They are not doing themselves any favours by not laying out their plans.

Looks like the only decent option for a internet connection is BT then by the looks of it then..

Plusnet, who are owned by BT but run by some lads from Yorkshire are probably better.

Do they use BT's equipment? Or have to go through the same stage as any other ISP and install their own equipment at the BT exchange?

They use BT equipment and offer Fibre where it is available in the exchange.

      Re: 2mb connection

I've got to say, Sky connect is the most unstable product you could ever have. Even more unstable then AOL.

      Off-peak (11pm - 5pm) its at 3.40mb, which is fair enough.
Peak times (5pm - 11pm) its at 0.12mb LOL might as well be with dial up...hell my phone internet is faster then that!
