      Moving house

      Hello

I'm thinking about moving house and it seems the village I'm thinking of moving to doesnt have sky enabled as a provider.

Is there any way around this as I'd like to continue use sky as I'm a very heavy downloder and dont fancy my chances on BT's network.

      Re: Moving house

It's a small exchange with no LLU providers and no signs of 21CN or FTTC serving 522 residential premises.

I am afraid the only way around it is to not move there.

It's nice to see people are doing the broadband research before making the move rather then being disappointed later.

Whilst I wouldn't recommend Sky Broadband Connect to a dying dog, there are other ISPs who manage their BT Wholesale products far better.

You are not limited to BT only, but anything will be limited to either ADSL or ADSL2 (not ADSL2+) speeds.

Please take a look at the link below to see who can offer you what. You may also want to investigate the possibility of hiring a seed box.
