No, but personally I'd say stick with BT as it means moving ISP in future isn't painful

But you can use a caller override service such as 18185.co.uk for cheap calls with BT, but not with Sky line rental as they block it. If you're taking Sky Talk for the BB discount, it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

Sky line rental goes up to 12.25/month in July if that would influence your decision. Although BT's will be 13.69(?) by then.

Re: Sky Broadband with BT or Sky line rental

Im in the process of leaving sky for several reasons. Personally I would recommend keeping the BT line (though probably not with BT as provider) and then consider your BB options from there. Theres very little difference in the line rental costs, whoever you choose, but Sky is not the cheapest, and you will have a world of pain and expense in the future if you want to leave the Sky phone service.

The Sky BB is a generally good service apart from when there are problems, and you need to speak to any Sky employees. It is no longer the great value that it used to be, and it is also no longer significantly better than most other providers.

But you can pay the line rental in one go for the year with BT and make further savings.( Line Rental Saver) atm its 120 for the year up front

You can also pay line rental up front with Sky and avoid the increase.
