...I'll bet the other exchange won't be far behind...
Well this morning I've still got a green internet light on the router but i can't connect...I'll check it out this evening...From what I've read on here the connection is erratic for the first few days.

Don't want to get anybody's hopes up if you are on Montfort (like me!), but just looked on the BT order tracker for my number and it now says
Date due 13 Oct 2006
Status In progress
Last update 08 Oct 2006
Latest update Your order is in progress.
It's been saying status not known for 2 weeks so this is progress.
We shall see.

Well, still no connection here either, writing this via trusty old dial up.
As I posted earlier in the week, the BT tracker says that I should be on by tomorrow, but of course this all depends whether anybody from Easynet has actually been into Montfort to fix the problem. BT have probably allocated a time to connect me but if Easynet haven't fixed the equipment then there's nothing for them to connect me to.
Phoned Sky again today for some sort of update and they could not tell me anymore, in fact the girl I spoke to told me less than I was told last week, and it took her a couple of goes to get my phone number right. She sounded unsure of what she was doing to be honest!
Forgive me for asking, but anyone else on here from Montfort, have you been connected at all?

No, still dead!
I have finally got a MAC but Im not sure if it wil lwork though, we shall see!
I requested disconnection and has a email saying that it would be completed within 14 days and my mac would take 2 days, that was on the 26th Sept and the MAC arrived today!
I have managed to get the name of the person in customer relations who is dealing with the case and finally it looks like they are actually taking notice of the shambles that is my connection.
You should inist that you are put through to someone in customer relations and get them to sort it. I have not managed to get a direct number though!
I did read somewhere that there were some connections live in Montfort, so fingers crossed that you do go live today!
Cheers
Phil

Finally.................
Now connected, finally!
After 3 and a half weeks, several swearwords, and many calls to the Sky orderline (including one today to a very helpful chap!), I am pleased to announce that I am finally connected to Sky Broadband!
Speed very impressive so far, wireless took a bit of time to sort out but all seems OK now.
