Hmm...is it possible to register interest ?

I am currently on ukonline and want to switch to sky however the kensal rise exchange is full for BB max....and I refuse to downgrade to BB connect.

A bit silly considering they are one and the same....

      ?????

if the exchange is full, sky could only offer connect which is a re branded BT broadband package (sky max is also upto 16meg and connect upto 8meg)

      Re: Extra capacity

correct - according to the website the exchange is full and they can only offer me sky connect. I am currently on a UK online 12 meg ADSL 2 connection so in some ways this is a bit silly. I assume at some point sky will merge the Ukonline retail ops into sky broadband.

I am currenly paying 29.99 for UKonline so it makes sense to move into skymax to have the equivalent package but get sky "free"

So the question was really if you are aware of any plans to increase capacity on those exchanges that are "full".

      Re: Extra capacity

It's a bit silly really because when you switch to Sky, you probably will be left connected to the same port on the same DSLAM. You would've thought Sky would have sorted this out by now.
