      series on anytime

I have had a look but sorry if I missed it.
Got anytime+ over a week ago everything seems ok but caught upon Trollied on downloads,
series one all there but when I came to series 2 the first 3 episodes are not there.
Is this right, if so whats the point as I can't catch up with 3 missing.

Are you sure it's not just the synopsis' that are wrong?

I just had a look & it's all a bit messed up for series 2.

      Re: series on anytime

Some newer series will only have limited episodes, as they are only available for a short period. This can be anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks depending on the channel that it's from. It's likely that the episodes you're missing have reached their limit and been removed until a later date when the whole series will be put back up.

The thing is, when i checked there were duplicates & some didn't make sense.

Guide, red, library, all, 'trol' =

      Trollied 3 2/3 - synopsis says s1, ep3
      Trollied 3 2/3 - synopsis says s2, ep3

      And so on.

It's not a show i'm familiar with, but just thought that as series 1 had 8 episodes & there's 8 others listed afterwards with nonsensical data, maybe they're actually all series 2?

Also, what's there for me is different from the op's experience.

      Mine says
      Trollied 3 2/3 - synopsis says s2, ep3
      Trollied 3 2/4 - synopsis says s2, ep4

So mine is right But it looks on closer inspection they start deleting series 2 episodes
2/3 goes on the 7th Oct
2/4 goes on the 14th Oct
      etc
This makes no sense as a "catch up" service or Anytime?
It should be catch up if your quick or don't mind missing a few episodes
Will be checking before I download anything else from "anytime"
Be interested to here an explanation from SKY though

      Re: series on anytime

Isn't the idea of catchup for the last 7 days?

I can't see how they can keep everything there so to speak, even iPlayer drops programmes after a certain amount of time has passed. This is afaik due to licencing issues etc

The difference in what we're seeing is down to where we're looking.

You're using catch-up, then choosing sky channels.

I'm using library, then choosing all & searching for trollied by typing 'trol'.
If you do the same, it looks like you'll probably get series 2, episode 3.
You may get episode 2, i don't know as like i said, it's a bit messed up.

Ok forget my ref to catch up etc
Series one is all there ..........series two is not
so the middle is missing ............ could understand if series one had gone
      Does That make more sense?

      Can't disagree with that.
I've always seen sky catch-up as a 7 day thing.

I know 4OD, ITVplayer etc keep some programmes available for ages, but assumed they were generally one-offs that the broadcaster picked out especially & saw as worth it.

Still, sky do need to sort out this data that's attached to series / episodes & also some consistency regarding the route used to access it.

      Re: series on anytime

Series 2 - I can find all episodes bar 1 and 2 using the method Gymno says, either it is a rights issue, or Sky haven't added them etc

There was an issue with Sinbad that for some reason Sky were slow to add the episodes as well.

Not sure if anyone would have a definitive answer, but I would guess rights is the main reason.
