      Re: Brainless sky

How Sky are 'brainless' here? It's likely a wireless connector that is shown in the instruction manual, not the router.

Right, back to basics here. It needs to be connected like so -

      From the telephone socket:

Telephone socket - Microfilter - Dsl cable - Router

      From the router:

Router - Ethernet cable - Sky Box

So if my router is connected to my sky box which part of that is the wireless bit?

The Sky Satellite Box (that's the thing that you connect to the television to watch pictures) is NOT wifi capable.
Your router MUST be connected to the phone line.
The router creates a wifi network for devices that are able to use it.

      Re: Brainless sky

My main router is connected to my phone socket and power point.

The other router sits on my box and is connected to my Sky HD box via ethernet.

This means there is no connection between the two routers = wireless.

      That's correct yes?

      Re: Brainless sky

When you say your other 'router'... what are you referring to? A sky wireless connector? You need to be more specific or correct for anyone to help you.

Also, making a thread with a severe lack of coherent information and then calling others brainless? C'mon...

      Re: Brainless sky

Why are you running two routers? Have you read the instructions at all? If you have, read them again carefully.

      Alternatively, read/watch all of this.
