Not available in Sky Store... Why???
Hi
Why is it that movies aren't available to rent in the Sky Store when they are already showing on Sky Movies?
I'm not a Sky Movies subscriber but would happily pay for the one or the other rental in the Sky Store. Unfortunately it seems to take ages until new movies get there at all. And very few of them in HD. Frustrating!

Re: Not available in Sky Store... Why???
The films that are just now showing on Sky Movies Premiere were on Sky Box Office 2 weeks ago. This means that you could have paid for them individually until they went to premiere.

Re: Not available in Sky Store... Why???
So basically they are available to buy/rent on Box Office for a short amount of time, then they disappear from there and show on Sky Movies, and aren't available in the Sky Store?
I fail to see the logic there...

Re: Not available in Sky Store... Why???
Its probably to do with licensing, a little like films cannot be shown until they have gone out on DVD etc once finished at the cinema.
Crazy I know as people like you would pay to rent the film, and make Sky, and the studios even more money.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Not available in Sky Store... Why???
It will be purely a licencing agreement imo - Once the DVD has been out (giving the studios a greater markup) then I would expect to see it on Sky Store at some point. Without speaking to someone at the Store though who commissions what gets added, I guess we will never know the real reason.
