      Anytime Plus Picture Problem.

      Just had a HD box installed.

      It's connected to an 28" Widescreen CRT, LCD Died a death at the hands of Wii Tennis

      When watching say Sky News (as this seems affected the most) the screen appears skewed to the left, the Sky News HD logo top left, I can only see ewsHD, same bottom left no clock, Anytime never had this problem.

      I have played with all the TV settings and the HD box settings al to no avail.

      Is this due to the CRT, or some other problem ???

      It has the same problem on other channels as well, but not the on screen banner.

      And on the subject of on screen banner, any way of making it any bigger ?? text is a bit small.

      ==========
      Regards
      Dave

      You are not meant to try and jump over the net, like the winners do in Wimbledon!

      I get this too with my CRT TV in my bedroom (via UHF or Scart sender). CRT TVs deliberately trim the sides off the picture. This is a throw back to the days of analogue TV. Even now a lot of HD TVs trim a little of the edges.

      As for the banners and other on-screen displays, sorry, there is only one size available. If anything the new EPG could make this a little worse for you as the text is smaller.
