Sky Anytime + with wireless netgear WPN111 adaptor

just had Sky Anytime+ activated on my account, and I've borrowed a usb adaptor, a netgear WPN111 to test out with it. looking online though, i've seen that most recommended adaptors also have an ethernet port on them. question then - will a regular usb wireless adaptor, like the WPN111, work?

No, you need a bridge, not a wireless adapter. Something like this - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003VIWJY...SIN=B003VIWJYI although there are cheaper alternates. Like this Vonets VAP11G WIFI Bridge: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories.

Ok, so what's the difference between having a bridge, and a regular wifi adaptor?

They perform different functions. A Bridge takes the ethernet adapter built into the box and provides it with a wireless signal. You might say a wireless adapter is a combination of the bridge and ethernet adapter which plugs into a USB port. They are not interchangeable. Although the SkyHD box has USB ports, they are not active and cannot be used.
