Netgear Universal Wifi Internet Adapter: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

I got the Netgear one Scubbie talks about above, but it's gone up from the 29.99 I paid for it last week. It does take its power from the Sky+ HD box USB slot.

Re: Sky Anytime Plus - Wifi Bridge Help

I have moved the posts from the other thread into this one in the hope of tidying things up. Have 2 threades running on the same query only serves to confuse.

Either you have not set it up properly or the device is faulty. Do you have another PC you can try it on?

Re: Sky Anytime Plus - Wifi Bridge Help

yea i have now set it up on another pc now, am unsure as to how to see if it is working. If i just disable the wireless connection i should be able to access the internet on the wifi bridge is that correct?

If you disable the wireless on the PC and plug the device into the ethernet port, you should be able to access the router and the internet.
