      iPlayer on Anytime+?

Sky in talks with BBC over on-demand programmes | News | TechRadar UK

"We continue to look to expand the VoD content available through Anytime+ and are in dialogue with the BBC about how they could best deliver on demand content through Sky," a Sky spokesman told PaidContent.

"Clearly, they are keen to reach the millions of viewers they have in Sky homes, and we're keen to expand the content available to our customers, and so we continue to discuss a potential way forward."

Sky is keen to offer programming through its own user interface, rather than using the iPlayer look and feel.

The last I heard about this is that the BBC wanted an iplayer like interface on the system which sky said no. We can only hope that they do reach some sort of agreement.

      Re: iPlayer on Anytime+?

I can't recall noticing before, but there are now links to the BBC iPlayer site for specific shows on the Sky Website.

Whilst looking through the Anytime+ Entertainment section, I noticed that there are now BBC iPlayer links on the bottom of the page.

I guess that the BBC & Sky will be working closer in the future.
