    This is a discussion on HD Content within the Sky Anytime + forums, part of the Sky On Demand category; Has anyone else noticed that HD programs are starting to appear on Anytime+, noticed a few of the recent films ...

      Has anyone else noticed that HD programs are starting to appear on Anytime+, noticed a few of the recent films etc showing up with files sizes been about 3-4gb

      That is worryingly small for HD films, most blu-ray rips are 10Gb+

      imo most 720p rips ive seen are 4.5 gb seen a few at 6gb depending on length of film
      10gb rips might be 1080p or 720p with added features.

      'my friend' usually gets 1080p, film only (subs & different audio tracks) no extra content .... average around 14Gb up to 18ish

      I downloaded my first HD film rental off iTunes last week (Harry Potter) and that was about ~4.5Gb

      Nice to see HD appearing on Anytime+ though

      With a mixture of Box Office and Sky Movies at the moment there are now 106 HD movies available.
