How do I get it? I'm a bit confused!

      Hi

I just went on to the sky web site to see if I could get AnyTime+ activated

I am a HD subscriber, sky world, unlimited broadband and skyTalk so I assumed it would be no problem and no cost.

anyway, the web site told me to call sky which I dutifully did. However, the person on the phone told me my sky box was a little too old and would not be compatible. Its a thompson box from 2009

They said I should go on the web site and register my interest instead. However I could not find the link they were talking about and it simply told me to call them. The person on the phone at this point decides she cannot help and that I should start up a live chat on their web site with and advisor.....WTF?! how is that any different to talking to someone on the phone?!?

anyway, the live chat service seems to be down at the moment

can anyone set me straight on the state of play with this and what I need to do to get this please? I don't really want to upgrade to a 1TB HD box seeing as its 249....that seems expensive just to get anytime+ when I am subscribed to so much stuff with them!

      cheers
      Chris

Thomson boxes are not going to be able top receive Anytime+. What Sky are doing is sending letters out in batches to people like you offering them a free replacement box or a 1TB one for 149, you do have to wait for the letter though before calling them up.

      thanks

why the customer services rep on the phone couldn;t have told me that I've no idea!

I was just catching up on other threads about this. anyway, I ended up e-mailing them, not sure if that means I will be contacted any sooner or not, but I guess I need to be patient
