      Just phoned SKY and asked the following two questions;

      1) Is my Amstrad 780 box compatible for ske anytime +
      2) If so when will it go live.

      After some time of him checking things out, he stated the 780 will be compatible and that everyone will be live by the 5th May 11..... I wish I shared his confidence, but lets see what happens next week.

      If you are a ' O2 All Rounder' as per your Profile, you will not get it anyway, whether your box is compatible or not

      I realise I'm on O2, although I will not go back to SKY unless I am able to get Anytime +. I was with SKY broadband from the start and was fairly satisfied with them, although wireless was dissapointing. O2 is faster than SKY, cheaper and their customer service, does what it says on the tin, although anytime + would be enough for me to return, that is when my 780 box can manage anytime +, I will return.....

      There is talk on the official sky forums of people ringing up CS and requesting A+ to be activated with success.

      Anyone tried this?

      Re: Anytime+ Amstrad 780 problem thread...

      Just got off the phone to cancellations, they girl was very nice and honest:

      She could not tell me when Anytime+ would be on my box, even though I said I was cancelling my 80.00 per month servce. but she did say they updated 65,000 amstrad boxes last week, and she said another rollout will be done next week.

      But she did either say I could have a new box, or 20.00 per month of my bill for 6 months, so that saves 120.00

      Will wait if I am only paying 60.00 per month.

      Happy days, its made me a bit happier

      I've resisted the new box route as I would assume it will be a refurb and a new 12 month contract.

      Re: Anytime+ Amstrad 780 problem thread...

      no they offered me a new box, I asked if it was a refub, and they said no.

      Also I said I am not taking a new box for a 12 month contract, and they said no.

      I got the girls name, time and date I called, so if they lie, I will get more for them lying
