What box have you got? Has it received the Anytime+ software, ie, do you have the Network tab on the Services Menu bar?

      Anyone?

I was thinking of cancelling as some say the ANYTIME + will not be available for everyone due to the box.

If thats the case, 85.00 a month seems a bit of a wast ,when virgin are offering my same pack but with 50meg BB for 70.00. and their anytime is huge.

      Re: Still no Anytime +

I received a phone call from Sky informing me that Anytime+ will be available on the Amstrad 780 in three to four weeks.

      Re: Still no Anytime +

What a Joke, so I need to buy a new box, just to have Sky+ Anytime which everyone is getting for free.

What is not paying 100.00 a monh not good enough, they almost hold me to rasnom as well, they said if I pay 150.00 for a 1tb I could have it... Just to let you know sky, I can get a 1tb drive for 35.00 or a 2tb for 62.00.

Will cancel. But will wait until Tivo comes out for virgin, that should be in the next month as mate is a engineer with them, so if anything goes wrong I can just call him

Nowhere near "everyone" is getting it for free, I'm not (Thompson receiver) and neither is over 2/3rds of their broadband customers, this is because they are not on the Sky LLU service so in fact, from the "everyone" you say are getting it for free, actually you mean a small majority.

I can also not get Sky 3D for free, others can this is because I don't have a compatible TV for it, just like you don't have a compatible receiver for anytime+ yet so what are Sky to do??? stop others receiving this service until everyone has available to them because this will never happen.

      Re: Still no Anytime +

so they roll out something that most cant get?

They need the correct box and if not, your stuffed.

What I expect them to do is not lie.. You call up and they say, yes yes you will get it, but will be rolled out, then you go on their forum website, and people say my box is not even able to get it, so sky just fob you off.

Then you call back to get a different box, and because there is "nothing" wrong with your box, they want to charge you, so you cant get this anytime+ not seeing were my 100.00 per month is going,.

Also you call once and they offer 150 for the 1tb box, then you call back again to talk more about it, then they want to charge 250.00.

      its reminding me of NTL

      Re: Still no Anytime +

They haven't lied, they have said you will get it when it is rolled out, at the moment all receivers will get it when they are updated.

As for your 100 per month, this is going to the same place as it was in November last year, to pay for the services you do have, Anytime+ is a FREE service if you have the correct equipment.

There is no need to change your receiver unless you don't want to wait for the one you have now to be upgraded.

I want Sky3D but is it Sky's fault that when I bought my TV it wasn't around???
