Reread your original post. The claim is that it is Ofcom who have denied Sky the ability to pipe Anytime+ to your connection.

If this is the case, then you should:

      a. confirm this through contacting Ofcom
      b. challenge Ofcom's decision

Sky can't go against Ofcom's rules & regulations.

Sorry, but Virgin frequently don't go into small cul-de-sacs in areas where they do cover. I am aware that they should have installed cable in other areas (contractual agreements) and have failed to do so by the agreed dates. Most people living away from towns can't get Cable either.

As for BT Vision, I've only heard how bad it is.

People are being denied a service because Sky have chosen not to update all the exchanges.
It is a financial decision. No company is going to provide a service where they will not get a good financial return. They are stlll enabling many smaller exchanges, where they can get space in the exchange, but many rural exchanges are too small to accommodate Sky's equipment.. Unlike Virgin who will only put cable into densely populated areas. Just try to get a cable connection north of the Forth and Clyde canal, unless you are in one of the areas close to Dundee, you have no chance. The same applies to Northern England and the borders. Geographically, Virgin's coverage is woeful..

If (like me!) you are a non-Sky broadband customer, MERELY a Sky satellite customer of many years why not complain that we are not allowed to receive Anytime Plus which, after all, we are paying for!
