      Re: Samsung Boxes

My Samsung has been updated for a couple of weeks now with no sign of my box becoming compatible. It will be when it will be. I remember waiting for the new EPG and when it finally arrived it took me about 10 minutes to get bored with it!!

      Re: Samsung Boxes

Since it seems most samsung boxes are up to date as of now I wouldn't have thought it would be long before they allow us to activate it. I guess they are waiting for everyone to have the update.

      Smile Re: Samsung Boxes

Here is the latest on the Samsung boxes getting anytime+ from sky, hopefully not too long to wait now

We are hoping to roll out Sky Anytime+ to customers with Samsung boxes soon.

As you may be aware, we're gradually making the Sky Anytime+ service available in phases to ensure each of our customers receives the best possible experience. The approach we have taken is according to a customer’s Sky+HD box model. The first box models to receive the service were the Amstrad DRX 890 and 895 HD boxes. The next box we aim to make the service available on is the Samsung box and the software required to support Sky Anytime+ is currently being rolled out in readiness for this.

When will I know when the service is available on my Samsung box?

If you have already registered for updates on the roll-out of Sky Anytime+ we will contact you once the service is available. If you have not previously given us your details and would like to know when you are able to activate the service please do so by logging in from the “Get It Now” section at Sky Anytime+ - Video on Demand - Sky VOD

Same is true for Anytime+. Can't believe there have been no significant improvements to what is available to download for over a month now

Possibly because apart from content they already own they do not have licence to show additional material. It has been widely reported that there will be an increase in available content from the New Year when the majority of HD Boxes will be up and running with Anytime+ and Sky agree whatever deal they need to bring on board the promised (predominately US) TV shows.

I can't see there being anything from the terrestrial broadcasters anytime soon with youview due to be launched shortly.

I am of this morning up and running with Anytime + on my Samsung box.

Did not get an email, went randomly to my account where the option was available.
