Extra Room - extra pay?
I have Sky+ HD on my main set and have just got an HD ready television in the bedroom where my Sky + Extra Room is sited.
If I bought a Sky + HD box for the bedtoom, would my extra room subscription cover me for HD in the bedroom - or do I have to shell out more cash for a second subscription?Furry Fred

Re: Extra Room - extra pay?
At the moment if you want an extra Sky+ HD STB in a 2nd room, under the 'Multi-room' package, the you would have to pay around £10 for the multi-room and an additional £10.50 for the HD option, if this is what you want.
However from September Sky are dropping the additional fee for the HD channels if you already have the option on your main STB.
You will still need to pay the multi-room sub though.

It is allowed. I have a similar set-up without the extra long hdmi cable though.
