      use sky sagemcom F@ST 2504n router with other provider

      I want to unlock F@ST 2504n router to make it usable with another IPS provider. Tried using firmware available for 2504 but didn't work. Please assist.

      It's definitely possible to use it with other ISPs by flashing it with other firmware. I hope the non sky branded firmware is better than Sky's though, as the router with Sky's firmware is shockingly poor.

      can you please assist me with the firmware files. I tried with F2404_3_18_1a4_flash_image_NONE.w file, but no change. It reboots the router, and come back to same home page.

      The firmware for the Sagem 2504 will not work with the N version.

      The link in post #2 and the link given in the DS thread refers to the Sagem 2504, it will not work with the 2504N.
