      Re: Just a Check

In my log i also notice my noise margin decreases, at 16:00 it was about 16.00 and then it slowly decreases to below 6db, Then Bounce sky kicks in and restarts the router. Then it rysnced to 8.1 db

EDIT : My internet has just had a wild spasm and still has, It's disconnecting every 5 minutes and it resysns at massively slow speed

      Re: Just a Check

Maybe you've had no response because the answers to your questions are plastered all over the site, dozens and dozens of times.

      However from your stats:

      • Your connection is capped at 3008kbps (hence your 13.6db noise margin)
      • Uncapped, with your current line quality, you'd sync at ~4500kbps according to your router reported max rate
      • This happens to be the max your attenuation could support so your line is not noisy enough to affect sync i.e. no amount of improvements will significantly improve this
      • You have a high number of line errors for such a high noise margin so there is some sort of interference though

In answer to your other questions:

      • A decent filtered faceplate can't hurt stability and may improve it.
      • Noise margin will usually drop in the evenings (see the first sticky in my signature)
      • The "massively slow speed" you refer to - please post your latest stats because something has happened since your previous ones (unless you mean it's noe syncing at 3000kbps?)
