VERY random connection. Any advice? Stats included!

Hi all. Forgive me if this has been answered before, Im not so great with technical stuff so all the posts seem like a different language!

I live in a shared house and am in charge of the internet connection. The internet generally works, but it often dies (which is either resolved by reattaching my wireless dongle and if that fails rebooting the router). I also notice that my download speed is very poor. Other people in the house have the same problem. As youre all experts, would anyone mind skimming through these stats and seein if they can identify the problem? Thanks!

There's nothing obviously wrong in your stats i.e. your connection looks fine (the sync is a little low for the attenuation but it's not too bad).

The problem you describe sounds like a wireless issue. Are the other people in your house also wireless? Wireless connection quality is often improved by repositioning the router and/or changing wireless channels. See the wireless forum for other advice. Wireless is very susceptible to interference. You would almost certainly find that a wired connection gave a vastly improved performance.

also, you shouldn't be on adsl2+ on mid - thats an oversight by Sky and will be changed should you call in (or if found out otherwise)

not a lot, but its not an option for anyone not on Max so the agent who set the profile got it wrong...
