NB: I resetted the router and now the sync speed has decreased to 7616 kbps download upload speed has remained the same.
What is/has happened is that your line condition has deteriorated. Either this is in your home wiring, or in your BT line (current wind and rain could be the cause). To determine which, home or BT line, you need to run a comparison with your test socket.

Downstream will always drop before upstream - that's just the way ADSL works.

OK thanks for info i was wondering why the line had suddenly deteriorated. So the CRC and ES errors are/could well be caused by this disturbance right? I will post test socket stats asap but i think your suggestion is most likely accurate.

Re: uncapped. request for current stats to be checked.

did a check on the stats with test socket. no increase in noise margi there at all so i don't think there's any problem with internal wiring.

Generally internet runs fine but sometimes at evening time sometimes noise margin drops pretty low and sometimes errors like 'DNS error' come through windows diagnostics which forces me to reboot the router. However ive changed the DNS since then to the sky ones and things seems to be OK for now.

These are my latest detailed stats.
