Yep... I do the same in the USA, Tennessee last three years. I've been at this business for the last 16 years. I thought at one time I could make it big time but all I caught was the dot.com crash. Had as many as 9 people in my business then.

Work for a global blue chip company in Contracts, but my background is IT after doing a Degree in Computer Science and then becoming MS Certified whilst in Full Time work and married with 2 kids.
Also run a small IT support business on my own supporting friends, collegues and anyone else that wants PC or networking help.
And it all started as a hobby. :D
I'm an IT Manager in a University. I'm responsible for the deployment, support (HW and SW) and development of PCs for all users in the University.
Busy at the minute evaluating things like Windows Vista and Office 2007, and exploring the use of Thin Client computing in open-access areas.
Plenty to do, but I like it. I'm lucky - I like my job :)
