Yep... I do the same in the USA, Tennessee last three years. I've been at this business for the last 16 years. I thought at one time I could make it big time but all I caught was the dot.com crash. Had as many as 9 people in my business then.

I will be 59 tomorrow and proud I am still doing this, working for myself and not having to drive to work for someone else for the best part of everyday.

I still get amazed everytime a customer calls up the business phone at the wierdest hour especially Saturday or Sunday nights. Does that happen to you to "NewsreadeR"?

I am a transport manager very stressful and lots of responsibility but challenging which keeps my mind alert i suppose :eek:

I have a few jobs

Sage accounts and wages, network and PC problem solving for estate agents
books and wages for other half's transport company
carer for disabled mother
Wife
Mum of 3 daughters (Cleaner,nurse, washer upper,dogsbody?)

I think it would be easier to be a man..too old for a sex change? :eek:

Work for a global blue chip company in Contracts, but my background is IT after doing a Degree in Computer Science and then becoming MS Certified whilst in Full Time work and married with 2 kids.
Also run a small IT support business on my own supporting friends, collegues and anyone else that wants PC or networking help.
And it all started as a hobby. :D

I'm an IT Manager in a University. I'm responsible for the deployment, support (HW and SW) and development of PCs for all users in the University.

Busy at the minute evaluating things like Windows Vista and Office 2007, and exploring the use of Thin Client computing in open-access areas.

Plenty to do, but I like it. I'm lucky - I like my job :)

Aerospace engineer mostly in the defence industry.
