How do you check the BT/Sky network situation?
I was supposed to be activated on the 28th November
I've been with NTL as a cable modem customer for several years
I thought I'd give some leeway before I connected to sky
I tried yesterday, friday 8th Dec, with no connection
Eventually I discovered according to the sky tech that Guildford had been down since the 24th of November and the problem was 'ongoing'
When I tried to escalate the tech I got nowhere
he couldnt get any information and asked me to call back on sunday when it would be 'quieter'
he also told me to 'keep my eye on the little green light'
can you believe these people?
what's a proper way to sort it?
