Router capacity / contention
Hi. I’m looking for some help with what I think is local bandwidth contention.
every now and then sky q will stop and tell me there is a connection problem then everything will slow down.
i have 19 devices connected to it, all of these bar one are WiFi so I can understand I’m maybe pushing the limits.
skys recommendation is to switch all devices that use WiFi off but I’d rather not, from a convenience perspective.
I can no longer play with the WiFi channels and frequencies so I’m left with having to maybe take their advice.
is replacing the router with something more “enterprise” an option. As far as I can see the user credentials, config etc is hard coded.
any advice? It’s a real pain in the backside
