Openreach came today for a line fault, turned out something to do with cable from exchange to cabinet, the tech has us now connecting through a nearby cabinet to get around the fault, when I looked at the new stats I was shocked.
Old stats,
Connection Speed 12092 kbps 1212 kbps
Line Attenuation 37.5 dB 19.5 dB
Noise Margin 7.0 dB 6.6 dB
new stats,
Connection Speed 17342 kbps 1212 kbps
Line Attenuation 32.5 dB 19.5 dB
Noise Margin 7.1 dB 9.9 dB
