Anybody else think it is a bit short sighted not to fund sports who did not do too well at the last Olympics? Surely they should get more money to give them a chance to bring talent on? It also seems to depart from the Olympic ideal of taking part being the main object, not winning.
It isn't easy, but then there is sponsorship available from other sources.
In this round of the Olympics one of our Gold Medalists in the shooting did just that.
