Call Diversion to Spain - A warning
I have had a long aand tortuous dialog with Sky regarding Call Diversion. I finally got an answer this morning after 8 emails 4 complaint forms and 5 telephone calls!
I pay for call diversion and International calls, when I go to Spain I divert my phone to my Telefonica number in Spain. It has worked perfectly for years but last month it refused to work giving the message "It is not possile to transfer to that number". I am able to divert to a UK number and my mobile.
Sky now say that this is now no longer possible as Telefonica will not accept diverted calls!
I have done some research and have found that with a free NGL 0843 number from Europa Telecoms I can divert to Spain. OK this will cost me the 0843 call charges but at least I will not miss client calls.
Does anyone know what 0843 call charges are, as the Sky agent could not tell me and the price list on the web does not give it.
Re: Call Diversion to Spain - A warning
You need to look up the charge band for the specific 0843 xxx number range that you will be diverting your calls to, e.g. 0843 000 is charge band g6. See the Sky Talk Specialised Phone Numbers list which can be found here:
Sky Talk - Specialised phone numbers
Once you have got that, the call rates are listed in the Sky Talk Tariff Guide which can be found here:
