Can it improve?

So after plucking up courage, I finally decided to pull out the ring wire (Should of done ages ago, soooooo easy), Couldn't bear it anymore knowing i'm getting 7mbps on the test socket instead of 5mbps.

Now that i've done this can i expect more improvement or is that it? Not that i'm complaining 1.5-2mbps is a massive gain for me.

That is about as much as you can expect downstream with your attenuation. You could call Sky and ask them to improve your upload, as this looks like it could get a bit more.

Thanks i'll ring sky over the weekend see if they'll bump it up for me, but for the 2meg increase i'm happier than larry.
