More Than 500 Jobs To Be Created By BSkyB
Satellite broadcaster BSkyB is to create more than 500 jobs at a new call centre in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
BSkyB, the owner of Sky News, said the centre will be opened in June "to meet increased demand for TV, broadband and home phone services".
It will be based in a new building in Stockport town centre, and will be in addition to Sky's centres in Livingston, Dunfermline, Uddingston, Leeds, Osterley and Shepton Mallet.

The article says Sky employ 16,000 staff in the UK and Ireland. I wonder how many are in Call Centres supporting their customer base?

Between 11-12k in the UK and abroad but I'm not sure if these are all Sky Employee's or that's just the total for how many peeps they have manning their lines.
