Failed recordings using Sky+.

My sky+box frequently fails to record.
,although the red record light is on throughout the duration of the programme.

Any ideas please, the box is less than two years old.

probably a power supply problem, mines did the same, got the PSU fixed and it worked fine (up untill the HDD started to go :( )
