Class action
As mentioned in threads elsewhere, we should start a class action against Sky for bad service. I was without phone or Broadband for 19 days after they conned me into taking Sky Talk when I got the satellite dish, took 2 days off work to try to resolve it and they've offered me £30 compensation.
For anyone else in this position, contact Otelo (their ombudsman), followed by making a claim in the small courts for damages. Also, you can inconvenience them greatly by asking for a Subject Access Request under the Data Protection regulations, then repeatedly telling them that they haven't provided all the information that they hold.
Regards and good luck

Re: Class action
A don't think a class action for 'bad service' would last 5 mins in court.
A class action requires a lot more detailed information and detriment to survive.
Re the SAR - just to let users know, this does cost you money under the DPA regs, so don't ask for one just to inconvenience Sky as it will simply cost you more money http://www.ico.gov.uk/tools_and_reso...lossary.aspx#s
Contacting the ombudsman is sound advice, but again, the oimbudsman will only look into your case if you have followed the companies complaints procedure and given them a reasonable chance to resolve the situation.
Of course, poor customer service is in no way acceptable and what I would advise is that any one who has experience poor service from Sky to post detailed information of the problem on here so that other users can post the most appropriate way to get the problem resolved.
