Changing my DAB settings made wireless work.
I am currently building my own Sputnik.
I intend to use the Sky Black V2 router to send a
signal to Earth from outer space.
(I am asking the Cheeky Girls mum to compose a
simple 4 beep tune.)
Unfortunately, I have NEVER been able to get the Sky router
to send a wireless signal from my living room downstairs
to my bedroom upstairs.
Then last night, to my amazement I noticed the wireless icon
on my laptop showing “connected” when I tuned my DAB radio
in to Planet Rock.
Now my wireless connection is working!!!
Has anyone noticed this before?
Re: Changing my DAB settings made wireless work.
If you are using a Pure DAB radio, when you select some stations the load on the plug-in power supply is very slightly less. This causes the switch mode psu to shift frequency very slightly, and the interferance injected into the mains also shifts frequency. The result is the router then becomes more frequency stable enabling a better wireless connection.
