converters

Hi all, great to be part of such helpful bunch! My problem is, I have a Panasonic DVD Recorder, it is good except for one thing, i can only play what I record on it on itself! :mad: It records in DAA format, does anyone know of a converter that will work so I can playback on any DVD player?

i've had a quick look at a random panny manual on their site and it suggests that you might be able to change the recording setting to mpeg.

Have you checked the manual? What model is it?

Hi mate, thanks for your reply. First off, let me apologise! It is a Goodmans not a Panasonic!?!? Also, from your comments I have had a much more indepth look at my instruction manual and it appears I have to make a setting change ( not noticed before ) that will allow me to make my recording compatible with other machines! Thank you for interest in my problem, it goes to show, read the instructions carefully first!!!:sorry:
