pay off my mortgage and give the house to my daughter - i'd then buy a £500,000 RV and go live abroad for the rest of my days
I would emigrate to Bermuda and never set foot back in the UK for the rest of my days. Not even for family funerals.
i have won the lottery a few times £10-£70 and once in a sindicate we got 5 numbers but there was so many of us i got about £90 lol
My Mum once got 5 numbers and she got a couple of grand.
my wife's syndicate ( which was 9 of them) won a few months ago - she got a cheque for just under £10,000
If i won..hmmm
I'd pay the mortgae off and rent it out.
Buy a nice villa out in Zante (Greek Island) possibly buy a bar or restuarant and sit back and enjoy life a bit instead of having to work all hours just to enjoy life a little.
I could get used to a view like this: First webcam on zakynthos zakynthos zante greece
I'd spend half on wine and women,......................then i'd just squander the rest...........namely in a country other than 'good old blighty!'
In order.
1) Pay mortgage off
2) Clear any debts CC cards etc
3) Rent house out
4) Buy another BIG bugger
5) But a home in another country, where god knows.
6) Pay the wife off.
7) Get a new maid in
8) Get drunk
9) Learn to fly
10) Get killed trying
11) Leave all my money thats left to the dogs home.
Now, what can I do with the other 50% of my winnings, all of £20 quid.
Well, we can all dream cant we ;)
lol do i spot a pattern here, everyone seems to want to get out the UK, must admit, thats the first thing i would do..
How many people sit somewhere from time to time and have this conversation?"What would we do if we won the lottery?"With the odds stacked heavily against the likelihood of it happening anyway. But hey some us are born optimists and personally when I do win the lottery I'll:-
1) Buy a house in the local area
2) Buy a house/flat by the sea 'cos I love the sea (ex-matelot so bound to say that eh!)
3) Cut down on my hours so that I can work part-time.Let's face it, fishing and watching the world go by is alright for so long.....
4) Give a reasonable donation to my favourite cause, i.e. Reading Football Club, 'cos now we're in the Prem we need all the money we can get.
5) As for the remainder???????More lottery tickets.
Everyone wants to leave the UK because native british people have a crap quality of life and the UK is the probably the dearest place to live.
It would have been better if Britain had lost both wars, i'd have been better off being German.
id move to poland as it must be empty by now judging by the amount of poles over here :)
Sorry to be boring but am with the others here. Definitely move out of the UK and become a beach bum.
Well, I have a beautiful wife, we're going to have a kid in January.
We're planning to build a house in 2-3 yrs, with a reasonable loan, paying it off and having 1-2 kids in the next 10 years.
I think having such plans/dreams and working for them makes one happy, it might not be the same just getting it.
So I'm not buying lottery tickets, but keep my fingers crossed for you guys.. :))
Where to start...
1. Pay my debts off.
2. Buy my family a house each.
3. Get a box at NUFC for life, for when I pop back to the UK.
4. Buy a Rolex.
5. Pack my job in without giving notice.
6. Buy a house in Bangkok.
7. Buy a house on Koh Phi Phi, where they filmed 'The Beach'.
8. Do the Inca Trail.
9. Walk along the great wall of china.
10. Buy and run a coffee shop in Amsterdam :D
11. Give money to Mind (the charity)
12. Enjoy myself.
Bit too much to work for there, so I think a lottery win would be the only way I'd get them all!
I am working towards one or two of them though, and am determined to get them, much more satisfying, as mentioned above.
There you go. :)
realist, you wouldn't die trying to fly, trust me i have my pilot's licence, it's nerve racking the first few hours but after that it's not as hard as people think.
it cost me just over £6000 to get my licence - i did 2 lessons a week, if you ever can do it i would seriously recommend it.
nothing like flying over the M1 when there are major jams hehe.
I wouldn't buy a house in another country I'd rather spend money travelling and seeing the world! The rest I'd bank! Oh and I'd donate something to this place too!! :o
mikey wouldnt u stay in cardonald [god's country]:)
Course I would, on the good old Halfway exchange!! Would have to do something about the local neds though!! :D
give them more buckie to keep them quiet
Wow, just checked Lottery results. It appears that i have finally won :)
Got 3 numbers
Only had the same numbers from Day 1
Now looking for ideas to how i am going to spend my £10.
I could buy a few more of these :beer_yum:
i would stay in uk - hate anywhere else
If I won the Lottery I would say "Not again..................."
I would send some carpet fitters round to SkyPaulplus to fix his bl**dy carpet:D:D:D:D
id keep the money, not tell anyone and live a quiet luxurious life. only25weeks and 5days to go
Tell my employers what I thought of them. Tell the wife I was popping out, take my passport and bugger off!
Pay off my student loans and finally move out...God knows I've waited too long already!
OOh OOh I Won!!!!!!!
Only kidding :p
if i won...? hmmm
i would give it to my mother/father, they looked after me untill i was 18/19, so its about time i looked after them.
well surely that compusory
