vista help with torrents

Just got a new pc running vista home premium and the sky max broadband, but my downloads have plummeted big style. On the old xp machine i was downloading at a min of 250Kbs and now im on vista im lucky to get 25Kbs !!!!! but uploads are unafected? i have tried the optimiser & also opening ports in windows firewall, but nothing seems to improve (other than it noew no longer drops the connection) can any body help me get the connection i know is available please ?:cry: cheers guys

I dont have any problems here on Vista with uTorrent

i thought i had done that, but after watching the vid it looks like i missed a bit out, so when i get home i'll try that again.
