Is Sky Broadband Is A Big Scam To Earn Money From Customer Service Phone Calls?
Ordered Sky broadband MAX 01 DEC 2006
First 60 days no internet light!
Faulty router that sky does not want to replace.
Keep blaming BT or any other third party which ever they can find.
22 February 2007, getting 100K broadband now, where I was promised 13MB+/- connection. Sky has got no clue what FCUK is going on or what is exactly wrong! But they don’t forget to collect money from my account by direct debit ever! A five year old can provide better service than these sky tech support team. About 90 days now still problem not solve! I should never have moved to Sky SCAMMER.
Weekend works for me now think about sky tech team.
Weekdays go through trouble shooting with same thing again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again again . Minimum time each time 25 Minutes!
T1, T2 and T3 only are making money from customer service phone calls. I am paying more on customer support calls then my broadband line rental.
We should all stand together against this scammer. SKY BROADBAND IS A BIG SCAM TO EARN MONEY FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE CALLS. AS WE ALL ALREADY KNOW.

I have changed all the caps to lower case and added an extra option - for the sake of fairness, we don't all share the same opinion.
~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Is Sky Broadband Is A Big Scam To Earn Money From Customer Service Phone Calls?
I voted yes, but would also like to add that Sky are not the only ones doing it, as a lot of company's do this as standard practise. If they use national or local call rate No's they can generate revenue shares (more from National rate No's) from each call that is made to them. This then offsets the cost of their outgoing calls or can even gives them a pay back if there received calls are high enough.
You normally find that company's also have a freephone No for new customers and then an 0870 or 0845 No for existing customers. If you try phoning the freephone No after you are a customer, they normally ask you to ring back on the other No as they say they can not transfer calls from their line. Hence you call back and they get revenue shares from your call.
