You can on both but I believe they do cap speeds on the connect package for file sharing.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      Sorry forgot to add that

As far as I know it is I am able to max out my connection on news servers ie: Usenet, I don't like or use p2p but there is a forum for asking these questions so I will move the last few post to that forum.

Re: Can i use my own wireless modem?

p2p is useable on connect but traffic shaping is in place which for me seems to limit speed to around 100 kb/s, this is the total for all the torrents i have running. I've never seen an individual torrent running faster than 50. Sometimes tho the total can be as low as 20, I guess thats down to the nature of torrenting.
      cheers

Regardless of the tracker, all P2P traffic on Connect is heavily shaped.
If all you use is Bit-Torrent, however, simply using uTorrent and encrypting the traffic gets around that issue.
From what I gather Sky use packet header sniffing to determine the type of traffic, so that's why encryption seems to work.
