limewire help and other stuff
If this is in the wrong forum, please can someone move it to the correct one for me?
Ok..
I'm trying to sort out my limewire...
I've forwarded the port I'm using in my limewire settings via UDP and TCP...
These are allowed on any outgoing connection and I've specified the internal IP of the PC using limewire...
Everything as it should be..
But if I do a shields up check.. it says that the ports are not open...
What gives?

update - I think there is something not quite right with these firewall rules you can set.
If I make the internal IP of the PC in question. the DMZ on the router.. I get a perfect connection.
what is going wrong.. I know I've done the rules correctly.

yeah I meant the incoming..
I've actually figured out what the issue was.
When I set the service up, I used the option whereby you can select UDP/TCP as one thing.
I've since changed that to two services, one for each type.. and although that is supposed to be exactly the same thing.. it's working fine now without issues...
Thanks for the reply!
