      Thinking of migrating

      Hello There
      im new to this forum
hehe anyways, im on plusnet at the moment, and its fine, can be slow but no real issues. Thinking of moving to sky, due to the attractive price! Can anyone tell me if it is better than plusnet? If p2p speeds (torrents specifically) are any faster? And what speeds they get?
      Cheers
      Ed

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

If you move to Sky Connect then P2P/torrents are likely to be between slow and disastrous

If you move to one of the Sky LLU products (Base, Mid, Max) then you should be able to get speeds close to the maximum your connection is capable of.

Bear in mind that these services are up to xmeg. The speed you get will be dependent on your line quality (mainly line length).

As an example I am on Sky Max, my router connects at ~13meg and I can get P2P/torrents at ~10.5meg.
