Accidently seeded 80 GB on a public tracker!

I normally don't tend to seed back this much when torrenting but I logged in to my seedbox after 2 weeks away to find that I'd seeded 80.6 GB on a torrent from a well known tracker. The torrent itself was an 80s US TV show and the funny thing was I only had it set to download one episode that I was missing which was not on Netflix. How its managed to upload that much from one file is bizzare!

Has anyone seeded this much before? Feeling a little panicky now. I don't torrent that much usually, only when there's certain things that I can't find elsewhere. I use a Seedbox so I can schedule things and to avoid the need of a PC being kept on.

Not "Twin Peaks" was it? I recorded the 2nd series on series link when it was showing on SyFi a few weeks ago and it missed episode seven. No failed recording, nothing, just a missing episode. If that was it then I may have leached some of your 80 GB.

Oh no not that, a show called Family Ties. Not sure if it was ever popular over here but Netflix was missing some episodes so I fetched them to download. Must have forgot to toggle upload off. Just checked and this show is currently being released on DVD over in the US so I'm a little worried in case anything comes from it.

You'll almost certainly be fine, although it's a reminder to take more robust measures in the future to protect your identity.
