TBH It's the least we can do. When the story first broke, we were unsure how to handle it, on hindsight, we could have done a little more a lot earlier.

      Good luck with VM!
Skyuser is, as far as I am aware, an unofficial support forum. Maybe you have better contact numbers than the rest of us, but still unofficial.

Hindsight is great and maybe Skyuser could have handled things better....but you have and are continuing to handle things better than the company we pay monthly subscriptions to.

100% correct. We do have a direct route into Sky, but like you say we are totally unofficial, and Sky would only share with us what they actually wanted us to publish.

We have already asked Sky if they have any intentions of contacting those people affected by email / letter, just as Plusnet have done so already.

I am just waiting to hear back from Sky, and I will immediately post anything that is relevant, as soon as we receive it.

I appreciate it is a little late now for Sky to retract or hide the information out there already, but if Sky were prepared to contact those people on the list, (as let's face it not everyone is even aware of what has happened). I feel that is in some way, a good way of alerting those people affected.

This is a good read and details some of the workings of ACS, there are four pages in all, very informative.

Hello again, its nice to see a little bit more interest in this thread!

      Good article to read

BBC News - BT seeks moratorium on internet piracy cases

BSKyB were not represented at today's hearing.
Is there any reason why Sky did not deem it necessary to attend when the other ISP's did. Given what has happened over the last 2 weeks I would have thought that it was important that they did.
Is there any official reason from Sky?
